At Belliance we believe in Medicine, and we never sacrifice the rigour, seriousness or quality demanded when practising Cosmetic Surgery. These values are held by all our team and form the basis of our philosophy at Belliance.
We therefore assure all our patients that each individual case is subjected to an internal quality control procedure prior to the treatment taking place, in order to ensure the operation is truly effective. Prior to embarking on any commercial programme in any surgical treatment, the case is evaluated by the Specialist responsible for that field of Plastic Surgery adjudicated to the patient. The case is then passed on to one of the Medical Management team at Belliance to be studied.
The Medical Management at Belliance supervises each and every one of the cases before the client undertakes any surgical procedure, offering a double guarantee to the patient that their treatment is going to be the most suited to their particular case and that the person performing the treatment is the most qualified in that field.
Just as not all patients are the same, neither are all Specialists the same. The Medical Management at Belliance is composed of Specialists in Plastic Surgery whose professional excellence is of national top level and who are considered as genuine leaders in their field and are respected as such by the other surgeons in the company.
Each patient is adjudicated a surgeon responsible for their case and a member of the Medical Management as supervisor. It is the responsibility of the Medical Management to evaluate the interaction between the individual case and the surgeon responsible, making the decision of suitability in the association between the two. |
Once the case has been studied the supervisor issues a report that can give a general approval or an approval with certain technical or logistical observations. A clinical session can be requested at which all the team involved will examine the patient at one of our centres or the supervisor may decide that the patient can be operated on by both surgeons simultaneously, both the adjudicated surgeon and the supervisor, in a teamwork capacity.
Finally, one of the decisions to be taken by the Medical Management is the rejection of the case without contemplating any further options, to guide the patient towards another cosmetic-medical treatment or simply to inform the patient that their case is unsuited to Cosmetic Surgery. The reasons for rejecting a case are very different but are always in the interests of the patient and never for commercial reasons, a policy that Belliance totally rejects.
